Salary: Up to £20,889 per annum

Hours: 30 hrs per week plus available weekend overtime

About the Role:

At South Staffs Water we pride ourselves on the quality of our drinking water and the customer service we provide. To maintain our high standards, it is vital we can demonstrate the quality of the water we supply. With Water Quality high on our list of priorities, we have an opportunity for a Water Quality Customer Sampler. This role is lone working and will operate in all weathers.

  • Taking water samples from company treatment works, reservoirs and customer properties.
  • Performing on site chlorine analysis.
  • Registering samples into the laboratory system.
  • Accurately recording results and undertaking quality control checks.
  • Adherence to strict quality control procedures and accurate record keeping.

What You’ll Need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good knowledge of performing various tasks using computer-based information systems.
  • A full valid driving license is essential, and a company vehicle will be provided.
  • GCSE standard (or equivalent); experience in a related area would be advantageous.
