Key Responsibilities
- Accurately collect water meter readings from customer properties across the region
- Complete all assigned meter reading schedules within the month to ensure compliance with Guaranteed Standards Scheme (GSS) requirements
- Ensure meter data is recorded correctly and updated on company systems
- Engage professionally with customers, answering queries and providing excellent service
- Identify and report unusual consumption patterns, potential leaks, and faulty or damaged meters
- Recognise and appropriately support vulnerable customers where required
- Represent South Staffs Water and Cambridge Water in a professional and positive manner
- Work efficiently to complete daily schedules while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction
