An exciting new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team running our biggest water projects. You will work closely with operational managers and subcontractors across several projects, providing commercial support on site and preparing for client/contractor meetings. You'll ensure all systems are adhered to and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of projects under your control, ensuring the successful delivery of all contracts.

  • Manage subcontractor orders, contract performance, and support valuations and budget monitoring.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly CVRs, identifying risks and revenue opportunities.
  • Handle monthly valuation applications, final accounts, and assist with cost management.
  • Provide contract expertise, resolve disputes, support risk assessment, and attend contract negotiation meetings as needed.
  • Conduct project progress reviews, report on costs, progress, and contractual issues, assist with large tenders, and implement commercial reporting systems.
  • Participate in post-contract reviews, report findings, and suggest improvements for future projects.

A degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC / HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with specific QS experience is required. Knowledge and experience in the utilities/civil sector, preferably in the water industry, is essential. A full driving license is also required.
