The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, including barred list information, as this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a full‑time Engineering Lecturer who specialises in Robotics and/or Industry 4.0. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team and work within a dynamic environment. We are looking for a committed and dedicated person with experience of working in the Engineering Industry to deliver Mechanical Engineering courses to Level 3 & 4 apprentices, Level 2 & 3 full‑time BTEC and T‑Level learners at South Staffordshire College's Tamworth campuses.

The successful applicant will be required to prepare, deliver and assess various aspects of Mechanical Engineering programmes for apprentices and full‑time learners studying on our Engineering pathways.

The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant teaching qualification, or be working towards one (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed), together with a minimum level 4 qualification in a Mechanical or Engineering subject area. You should have experience of the Mechanical Engineering industry.
