Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, including barred list information, and to complete safeguarding training as part of induction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess a range of teaching topics from Level 1 to Level 3 across catering and hospitality disciplines to learners aged 16–18 and 19+.
- Prepare and maintain teaching materials, lesson plans and assessment resources.
- Assess learner progress and provide feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to curriculum development, assessment policy and quality improvement within the department.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in catering/hospitality or related field.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification.
- Significant experience working in the catering/hospitality sector.
- Experience in teaching, training and assessment, with evidence of CPD activities.
Requirements
- Completion of an enhanced DBS check and barred list check.
- Current safeguarding training, which will be supported through induction and ongoing CPD.
