South Staffordshire College are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) to support the Engineering and Electrical team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal quality assurance for Engineering and Electrical apprenticeship programmes.
- Monitor and maintain assessment standards in line with awarding body requirements.
- Support assessors and trainers with guidance and feedback to ensure best practice.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the curriculum areas.
Hours and salary
- Hours: 22.5 per week (part-time).
- Salary: as per college scales.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an IQA role within Engineering and/or Electrical disciplines.
- Hold a recognised Internal Verifier qualification (e.g., V1/D34 or equivalent).
- Relevant Engineering qualifications at Level 3 or above.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and assessment practices.

- Ability to work collaboratively with curriculum teams.
