South Staffordshire College are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our Dressmaking team to help develop the skills and knowledge that young people and adults need to succeed in the world of work. We are looking for a tutor who has the experience of working with adults and the ability to work using their own initiative. Help to teach and guide our beginners and experienced students through their course.
Responsibilities
- Deliver dressmaking tuition to adult learners and beginners, helping them develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the world of work.
- Support and guide learners through their course with the ability to work using their own initiative.
Qualifications and Requirements
- The successful candidate will have related qualifications and the necessary teaching qualifications. They can be working towards a teaching qualification or have extensive experience in teaching this subject.
- A good understanding of IT to help deliver dynamic lessons and to support teaching in the classroom, with a willingness to develop these skills going forward.
- This role will require travel to three of our main campuses across Staffordshire.
- Ability to teach evenings during the weekdays.
