South Riverdale Community Health Centre is a non‑profit, multi‑service organization that provides primary healthcare, social and community outreach services with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention primarily to people of East Toronto. Job Summary:

SRCHC is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead a number of special projects aimed at supporting the implementation of our new strategic plan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting the agency in promoting operational and governance excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of cross‑organizational projects aligned with SRCHC’s Board priorities and SRCHC’s operational accountability framework.
  • Develop, monitor, track and report on multiple project plans, deliverables and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement communication plans to inform and update staff, board members and other key stakeholders about projects.
  • Work with external consultants, partners and other key stakeholders on key organizational projects.
  • Support Leadership Team to plan and implement a series of community engagement activities related to SRCHC’s 50th Anniversary.
  • All other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree with experience in a related discipline (e.g. health administration, project planning, quality improvement).
  • Project Management certification considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years progressive leadership experience managing complex health system projects ideally in community health or primary care settings.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support project teams with capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • Proven expertise in project management principles, methodologies and experience utilizing project planning techniques, tools and templates.
  • Experience leading and supporting cross‑organizational teams with an ability to earn the trust of key stakeholders, mobilize and motivate teams, set direction, build consensus, coach and resolve conflict.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of autonomy in planning and managing projects.
  • Strong collaborative leadership.
  • Detail and goal‑orientated with strong problem‑solving, critical thinking and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, data visualisation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and effectively to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Respect for diversity, equity, anti‑racism and accessibility with the ability to work collaboratively and positively with others.
  • Strong interest in issues affecting people who are homeless, living with a mental illness or substance use, and complex health needs.
  • Respect for client confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer technology and various software applications.
  • Previous CHC experience an asset.
  • Police clearance documentation will be required for employment.
  • Proof of double COVID‑19 vaccination status will be required for employment.
