Job Summary:
SRCHC is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead a number of special projects aimed at supporting the implementation of our new strategic plan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting the agency in promoting operational and governance excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of cross‑organizational projects aligned with SRCHC’s Board priorities and SRCHC’s operational accountability framework.
- Develop, monitor, track and report on multiple project plans, deliverables and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement communication plans to inform and update staff, board members and other key stakeholders about projects.
- Work with external consultants, partners and other key stakeholders on key organizational projects.
- Support Leadership Team to plan and implement a series of community engagement activities related to SRCHC’s 50th Anniversary.
- All other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree with experience in a related discipline (e.g. health administration, project planning, quality improvement).
- Project Management certification considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years progressive leadership experience managing complex health system projects ideally in community health or primary care settings.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support project teams with capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Proven expertise in project management principles, methodologies and experience utilizing project planning techniques, tools and templates.
- Experience leading and supporting cross‑organizational teams with an ability to earn the trust of key stakeholders, mobilize and motivate teams, set direction, build consensus, coach and resolve conflict.
- Ability to exercise a high degree of autonomy in planning and managing projects.
- Strong collaborative leadership.
- Detail and goal‑orientated with strong problem‑solving, critical thinking and negotiating skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, data visualisation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and effectively to a diverse audience.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Respect for diversity, equity, anti‑racism and accessibility with the ability to work collaboratively and positively with others.
- Strong interest in issues affecting people who are homeless, living with a mental illness or substance use, and complex health needs.
- Respect for client confidentiality.
- Proficiency in the use of computer technology and various software applications.
- Previous CHC experience an asset.
- Police clearance documentation will be required for employment.
- Proof of double COVID‑19 vaccination status will be required for employment.
