About The Role
- Location: Astley Hall & Worden Hall
- Contract: Part Time (16.5 hours per week) / Permanent
- Salary: £25,989 - £26,403 pro rata (£11,829 - £12,017)
- Closing Date: 8 February 2026
What you’ll be getting up to:
- Security and Usage: Ensure the security and proper use of the Operational Assets and their contents.
- Opening and Closing: Open the Operational Assets prior to usage and secure them following usage, by arrangement with the Facilities team.
- Maintenance: Maintain the Operational Assets in a clean and safe condition, to the standards agreed, and undertake minor repairs.
- Health and Safety: Assist the Facilities team in meeting all Health and Safety requirements within the Operational Assets.
- Asset Coverage: Cover Council-wide assets such as bowling huts, pavilions, and other associated buildings as required.
- Inductions: Carry out and record hirer inductions, including Health & Safety briefings.
- Contractor Access: Arrange access for contractors.
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience: Cleaning and securing buildings, supporting colleagues, and presenting information in appropriate formats.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to travel between sites when required, and working across teams in a positive and constructive manner to achieve results.
Other requirements:
This role requires you to regularly use a vehicle; you must possess a valid UK Driving Licence.
