We are seeking a capable and passionate individual to design, run, and host various events, such as short courses, workshops, and clubs. As the manager of the Praetorium, the AI and Digital Skills Centre at South Ormsby Estate, you will lead the transformation of this new, state-of-the-art digital centre into a vibrant hub for Lincolnshire\'s rural community. The ideal candidate is confident with Microsoft Office, AI models like ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot, and possesses a creative problem-solving mindset, a proactive attitude, and a positive outlook on business growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering a programme of activities that support and engage the rural community.
  • Activities may include:
    • Courses & workshops: Teaching digital and AI skills through hands-on training and accessible courses.
    • Hotdesking & office spaces: For local entrepreneurs.
    • Youth programmes: To build confidence and careers.
    • Events, clubs, and community projects: Developing opportunities for local tenants.
  • Producing and executing marketing plans and campaigns to raise awareness and increase programme signups.
  • Building awareness and momentum for the Praetorium via social media channels.
  • Managing day-to-day marketing and activity-related projects.
  • Estimating and managing budgets for the venue and activities.
  • Setting and reviewing quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) with the Estate\'s Custodian and Managing Director.
  • Managing and promoting the Praetorium’s hotdesking suite to attract regular users, especially supporting local startups.
  • Qualifications/Experience:
    • Business, Events Management, or Marketing qualification or equivalent experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Full Driving Licence
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Passion for IT, AI, and Digital Skills
    • Interest in birds and wildlife
    • Background in Hospitality, Events, or Marketing
    • Confidence in presenting and leading activities
    • Experience with CRM tools, feedback systems, and online booking platforms
