We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource and Learning and Development Assistant who already has hands-on experience in both specialisms to provide maternity cover for our busy HR team.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
This is a hands-on, varied role offering fantastic exposure to a wide range of HR issues with a 50/50 split between HR administration and L&D coordination, and you will be expected to work confidently across both areas. The successful candidate will have strong HR administration/assistant experience and will be supporting approximately 140 employees and managers in a busy, fast-paced environment. As HR & L&D Assistant you’ll provide proactive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contract and payroll changes, absence management, and maintaining accurate HR systems and records. A key part of the role includes supporting Learning & Development by coordinating training opportunities, maintaining the Learning Experience Platform, creating learning content, and managing bookings and mandatory training records. The postholder will help improve HR processes and deliver a high-quality HR service that supports and champions our employee-centred approach.
The Skills and Personal Attributes You’ll Need to Have
We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team member with strong HR and L & D administration experience, capable of delivering efficient support across the full employee lifecycle. You need to be well organised, customer-focused and confident managing HR queries, data, systems and documentation. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, along with a collaborative, employee-centred approach.

We operate a hybrid working model balancing working from home with attendance at the office to meet the needs of our employees, your team and clients.
