Transform data into insight and play a key role in improving services for residents across Broadland and South Norfolk.

Join us as a Data and Information Advisor and help turn data into action. You’ll provide the insight, reporting and analytical support that enables our services to continuously improve and deliver the best possible support to individuals, families and local communities.

About the Role

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll help to turn data into meaningful insight that supports better outcomes for the Individuals and Families service. You'll produce monthly and quarterly performance reports for senior managers and the Corporate Leadership Team, ensuring they have accurate, timely information to support decision-making.

Working closely with data owners, system leads and service teams, you'll develop and maintain dashboards, coordinate the submission of key performance data and commentary, and help ensure information is used effectively to support service delivery. You'll identify opportunities to improve data quality, recording practices, reporting processes and system utilisation, helping services make the most of their information.

You'll also provide robust analysis and evidence to support service improvement projects, business cases and funding bids, whilst maintaining high standards of data quality and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data governance requirements.

Alongside this, you'll produce routine and ad hoc reports, respond to internal and external information requests, and provide valuable performance insight to support a wide range of operational and strategic projects across the service.

About You

You will have substantial experience working with databases, spreadsheets and management information reporting processes, alongside a proven ability to solve technical problems and identify innovative solutions within a systems environment. You'll be confident collecting, analysing and presenting information in a range of formats for different audiences.

With strong written and communication skills, you'll be able to support and advise colleagues on data and information issues, whether through hands-on training, practical guidance or the development of clear supporting documentation.

Closing Date: 25th October 2026
