Long Stratton Leisure Centre boasts a state-of-the-art gym, soft play, a studio, a multi-functional Sports Hall and a Café.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Leisure Assistant to join our team and help to make every visit to our centre a great experience.
You’ll be the first point of contact for our visitors, ensuring they receive a friendly, professional and helpful service. You’ll play a key role in promoting a positive image of the centre and the Council, whilst keeping up to date with our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve membership and usage enquiries at first point of contact.
- Assist with supervising roller-skating sessions and ensure a safe environment for all participants.
- Administer First Aid when required.
- Conduct tours for prospective members and support membership sales.
- Prepare and serve food and drinks in our café area.
- Support the delivery of events and hospitality across the centre.
About You
With previous experience in a customer facing role, you will have a friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to work confidently in a busy environment, and handle customer queries effectively. You will have proficient IT skills and will be able to multitask whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
