We have a number of opportunities for qualified Swim Teachers to join the team at Wymondham Leisure Centre.
Hours
- Mondays 9.05 - 11.05
- Wednesdays 9.00 - 11.05
- Fridays 10.00 - 11.00
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a high-quality programme of school swimming lessons in line with Swim England and the national curriculum. Lessons should be structured, progressive, and engaging, ensuring that participants of all ages and abilities enjoy their learning experience while developing essential swimming skills. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of Wymondham Leisure Centre and to support the development of swimming skills within the local community.
About You
Applicants must hold a Swim England or STA award or certificate (or equivalent), together with either the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches or the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. We also welcome candidates that hold an STA certificate. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate previous experience in planning and delivering swimming lessons to groups of mixed ability, together with strong organisational, communication, and motivational skills. Experience of teaching SEND students would be an advantage.
