We are looking for a qualified Swim Teacher to join the team at Diss Swim Centre. The current hours we have available are: Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 3:45 - 5:45 and Thursdays 9:15 - 11:45.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a high-quality programme of swimming lessons in line with the Swim England Framework. Lessons should be structured, progressive, and engaging, ensuring that participants of all ages and abilities enjoy their learning experience while developing essential swimming skills. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of Diss Swim Centre and to support the development of swimming skills within the local community.

About You

Applicants must hold a Swim England or STA award or certificate (or equivalent), and ideally either the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches or the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. We also welcome candidates that hold an STA certificate. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate previous experience in planning and delivering swimming lessons to groups of mixed ability, together with strong organisational, communication, and motivational skills. Experience of teaching SEND students would be an advantage.
