The predicted salary is between 31523 - 38528 Β£ per year.

4.5 Hours on Saturdays 8.30am - 1.00pm. Salary will be pro-rata based on hours.

We are looking to appoint a qualified Swim Teacher to join our Swim School Team in delivering a fun, safe and effective programme for all users at our Diss Swim Centre. Responsible for Saturday morning swimming lessons, you will require an SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers qualification. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of Diss Swim Centre and to support the development of swimming skills within the local community.

In addition to teaching our 'Learn to Swim' programme, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are experienced in delivering Group, Adult and Child, individual or 2:1 lessons.

You will need:

  • a Level 2 Swim England qualification (or STA equivalent), together with a National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches or an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification (or be willing to undertake within a specified timeframe).

The Saturday hours will require an SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers qualification.

About You

You'll bring experience of planning and delivering swimming lessons for groups of varying abilities, along with a good understanding of health and safety requirements and safeguarding within the leisure sector. You'll be well organised and reliable, with strong timekeeping, and able to communicate clearly and effectively. A positive, tactful approach, combined with good teamwork and customer service skills, will help you create a welcoming and supportive environment.
