The consultant psychiatry post will involve consulting to care coordinators, direct clinical contact for diagnostic clarification, risk assessment, medication suitability etc. and follow ups. Attending the MDT meetings to contribute and oversee care planning in line with evidence based practice is also expected.

As part of South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation trust, we also have access to National and Specialist services in variety of areas (e.g. Dialetical Behavioural Therapy, Eating Disorders). These cases may still have some involvement locally from our service.
