Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will play a crucial role in the successful launch and ongoing education related to our new MS drug. This position involves educating healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers about the drug, its benefits, and its proper administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology, particularly in Multiple Sclerosis, and experience in clinical education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational programs and materials for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on the new MS drug, including its mechanism of action, administration, and potential side effects.
  • Provide ongoing support and education to healthcare providers and patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent and accurate messaging about the drug.
  • Create and update educational resources, including presentations, brochures, and online content.
  • Ensure all educational activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Gather and report feedback from healthcare professionals and patients to inform future educational initiatives and product development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of UK clinical experience in MS.
  • Current RN license and certification in Multiple Sclerosis nursing (e.g., MSCN) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to simplify complex medical information, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
