What will your role be?
As an Income Officer, you will ensure prompt, comprehensive and effective outcomes in income collection, recovery of rent arrears and other debts (including leasehold and low-cost home ownership) for current and former SLH tenants. You will ensure customer accounts are well managed in accordance with policy and procedure, providing advice and guidance to customers in relation to welfare benefits and signpost to money advise services when required.

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have a good standard of secondary education (including English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or above), and hold or be willing to work towards a professional qualification within Housing. You will have proven experience working with a range of diverse customers within a social housing environment, delivering excellent customer service, with strong knowledge of welfare benefits such as Housing Benefit and Universal credit. This role is an excellent opportunity for a great team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills who wants to make a real difference to South Liverpool.
