About Us: South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has over 550 teaching and support staff working in the four schools (Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Giles Academy and Cowley Academy) that make up our highly successful Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic Advisor to be based at either Spalding Academy or Giles Academy. This role would ideally suit someone who has experience of careers education or a keen interest.
Working as an integral part of the Careers team, the successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience of working in a similar position;
- Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Have excellent organisational and inter-personal skills;
- Be willing to collaborate and work across the Trust;
- Be a team player but can also work independently;
- Be assertive and pro-active;
- Adopt a consistent approach to all students;
- Be flexible in their approach to their working hours ie: attend relevant evening events and attend work during exams results weeks in August;
