About Us: South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has over 550 teaching and support staff working in the four schools (Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Giles Academy and Cowley Academy) that make up our highly successful Trust.

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and confident Sport Technician to join the Sport Department at Bourne Academy. Working as an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will:

  • Be a team player- pro-active and show initiative;
  • Work proactively to support the teacher in lessons;
  • Be responsible for setting up, clearing away and maintaining all equipment to assist the department;
  • Assist in the development of curriculum resources and other support materials for staff;
  • Help with the administration of the department e.g. photocopying, preparing attendance lists etc;
  • Be required to have competent computer skills (using excel & word);
  • Be able to meet deadlines;
  • Have an interest and experience in sport;
  • Have good communication skills to be able to liaise with other schools, external transport companies and sport agencies;
  • Be able to create professional relationships with staff and students;

This position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience within a PE department in a secondary school. The Trust offers exceptionally pleasant working environments.
