About Us: South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has over 550 teaching and support staff working in the four schools (Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Giles Academy and Cowley Academy) that make up our highly successful Trust.

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a SEND Manager to join the SEND team at Bourne Academy. The post holder will manage the work, deployment and development of the SEND department on a day-to-day basis, whilst working with the Trust SENCO and Head of School contributing to the planning, development and decision making regarding the care of our students and their needs.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in the Special Educational Needs area;
  • Have experience of multi-agency working and an understanding of their role;
  • Communicate confidently with parents and young people;
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills;
  • Have secure Literacy and Numeracy skills;
  • Be well organised with excellent time management and communication skills;
  • Experience in a similar environment would be an advantage.
