About Us:
South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has over 550 teaching and support staff working in the four schools (Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Giles Academy and Cowley Academy) that make up our highly successful Trust.

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a Pastoral Year Lead to join the Pastoral Team at Spalding Academy.

\\n

As a Pastoral Year Lead, you will be an integral part of the Pastoral Team. This is a highly valued and responsible position requiring a team player who is self-motivated and willing to respond enthusiastically in an organisation that has high expectations of all colleagues and students

The suitable candidate will:

  • Be self-motivated, quick thinking and highly organised;
  • \\n

  • Provide pastoral support to the varying needs of our students;
  • \\n

  • Have a passion for supporting our young people to achieve their full potential;
  • \\n

  • Be able to build positive and supportive relationships with our students and the wider school community;
  • \\n

  • Possess effective time management skills in order to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • \\n

  • Be an effective and confident communicator via different means such as telephone and email;
  • \\n

  • Competent with IT;
  • \\n

  • Experience in pastoral/ behavioural role would be desirable;
  • \\n
