About Us: South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has over 550 teaching and support staff working in the four schools (Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Giles Academy and Cowley Academy) that make up our highly successful Trust.

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint reliable, confident and enthusiastic Cover Instructors to join our Trust at Spalding Academy, Bourne Academy & Giles Academy.

Working to support the school’s cover requirements, the successful candidate will:

  • Be confident, positive, motivated and driven to deliver lessons to our young people;
  • Be quick thinking, flexible, adaptable and proactive;
  • Be able to deliver pre planned lessons, in a professional and inspiring manner, across multiple subjects to students;
  • Be able to confidently implement behaviour management strategies and maintain high standards with confidence;
  • Ability to inspire and motivate our young people;
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills;
  • Confident to use a computer as part of the role;
  • Experience within education is desirable but not essential, full training will be provided.

Salary: GLEA Grade 5.12 – GLEA Grade 5.15- £23,375 - £26,253 per annum, (depending on qualifications and experience) Hours: 32.5 hours a week, 39 weeks per annum.
