About Us: South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has over 550 teaching and support staff working in the four schools (Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Giles Academy and Cowley Academy) that make up our highly successful Trust.

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an organised, highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Classroom Technician to work at Bourne Academy. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide technical support to the Food Technology Department, ensuring the smooth running of practical cookery classes and ensuring they are able to work safely and successfully;
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment;
  • Take responsibility for food preparation and stock management;
  • Organise and clean equipment;
  • Support the practical delivery of classes;
  • Undertake appropriate administrative tasks;
  • Have a basic food hygiene qualification or be willing to work towards this.
