South Lincolnshire Academies Trust has over 550 teaching and support staff working in the four schools (Bourne Academy, Spalding Academy, Giles Academy and Cowley Academy) that make up our highly successful Trust. South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and confident Art Technician to join the Art Department at Bourne Academy, for maternity cover from September 2026.
Working as an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will:
- Be a team player- assertive, pro-active and shows initiative;
- Support the teacher in the classroom and assists in preparation of equipment and preparation of the classroom;
- Record, monitor and re-order stock and materials as required;
- Deliver, check and return stock from the classroom and back to storage;
- Assist in the development of curriculum resources and other support materials for staff;
- Be responsible for art work displays around the school;
- Attend meetings as required;
- Support the Head of Department in annual audits;
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English;
- Experience in a secondary school would be an advantage but not essential.
