Hours: 37 hours per week, Permanent

Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £39,856 - £40,995 per year

South Lanarkshire Council require an experienced Electrician to support the delivery of electrical works within Building Services. You will have a flexible approach to managing varied workloads as you will be required to carry out all associated electrical works including new build, refurbishment, maintenance and a Testing and Inspection programme.

You will be time-served with trade qualifications within your relevant discipline SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds and be able to demonstrate sound practical technical competencies in managing and delivering jobs. You should display experience within either commercial or domestic properties within the construction industry.

For the Testing and Inspection programme you should be able to demonstrate sound practical technical competencies in carrying out Testing / Inspection to current regulations with suitable qualifications.

Placement of advance electrician grade is dependant on meeting the criteria in job profile and positions available. You should demonstrate a commitment to the principles of customer care, while displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate previous experience of working to targets and pre-determined timescales along with an awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
