We have an exciting clerical opportunity to join our South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team based in South Vennel, Lanark. As a Clerical Assistant you will undertake a wide variety of admin duties including:
- Providing a front line reception service, greeting and welcoming visitors
- Fielding phone calls
- Providing administration support to the Unit Manager and all residential care staff
- Providing a word processing service
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Arranging meetings using the outlook facility
- Annual archiving
- Maintaining inventory of all tools and equipment within the establishment
- Data inputting to our Social Work case management system
- Using Multi Functional Devices, scanning and indexing documents
- Managing petty cash including reconciliation
- Other general admin tasks to support our colleagues who provide a frontline service to the community
We welcome applications from people who have an excellent knowledge of IT packages. Ideally you will have experience of working as a receptionist or within an office, however this will not be essential as you will be given full training.
