Work Pattern: 7 days over 14 including every second weekend, a combination of early shift and back shift, in accordance with a roster (2 weeks early shift and 2 weeks back shift)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work as part of a team who will provide a support service to Home Carers working to support vulnerable people living in the community Council wide. This includes scheduling and allocation of work. There is a requirement to use IT, and you should have an interest and good understanding of IT programmes. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation.
You will be required to work in accordance with a roster which includes early shift, back shift, and weekends, and will be required to work a shift pattern. Additional increments for working unsocial hours will also apply. South Lanarkshire Council will provide and fund all required training including induction and ongoing learning and development.

The grade for this post is Grade 2 Level 4 - £20.66 to £21.25 per hour. However, as this is a shift working post you will receive an additional 1 or 2 increments (depending on your shift pattern) and this will be consolidated into your salary; therefore your salary will commence on either £21.25 or £21.87 per hour.
This post requires candidates to register with Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) as a supervisor in Care at Home and gain full SSSC registration within 3 months of commencing the post.
