Hours: 26.25 per week, permanent

Work Pattern: 7 days over 14 in accordance with a roster

Shift Pattern: In accordance with a rotational roster, you will work over a four-week shift pattern which consists of two weeks day shift and 2 weeks back shifts. Day shift is 6.30 am until 3.30 pm (during weekdays - 7am until 4 pm office based). Backshift is 3 pm until 11 pm.

Shift Pattern consists of:

  • Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Dayshift)
  • Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday (Dayshift)
  • Week 3 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Backshift)
  • Week 4 – Wednesday, Thursday (Backshift)

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as part of a team who will provide a support service to Home Carers working to support vulnerable people living in the community Council wide. This includes scheduling and allocation of work. There is a requirement to use IT, and you should have an interest and understanding of IT programmes.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation. Additional increments for working unsocial hours will also apply.

  • Can you provide an example of a situation where you have had to prioritise the needs of several people with different requirements, at the same time. Describe the differing needs, how you supported these, and how you made the decision in terms of prioritisation.
