The Role

\\n

As a Substance Use Worker, you’ll provide direct support to individuals navigating substance misuse. You’ll work closely with clients to develop personalized recovery plans, deliver harm reduction interventions, and connect them with wider support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop recovery-focused care plans

  • Deliver 1:1 keywork sessions and group interventions

  • Support clients in accessing housing, benefits, and mental health services

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and peer mentors

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development

About You

\\n

  • Experience in substance misuse, mental health, or social care

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 3 in Substance Misuse or equivalent)
