Hours: 35 per week, permanent
Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm

This position is based within the Hospital Discharge Team, University Hospital Wishaw; however, you will also provide remote administration support to colleagues in University Hospital Hairmyres, East Kilbride and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. On occasion, you could be required to travel to support with annual end of year exercises.

You would be part of a successful administration service working in a fast-paced environment. As a Clerical Assistant, you would be the sole administration support in the office, working to support Social Work and NHS front line staff, within the Partnership, undertaking a wide variety of administration duties including:
- Participating in Microsoft Teams calls in relation to hospital discharges from Wishaw and Glasgow hospitals
- Updating spreadsheets regarding packages of care
- Processing referrals for complex care assessments
- Data input to our Social Work Case Management System
- Providing a word processing service
- Minute taking
- Arranging meetings using the Microsoft Outlook facility
- Answering and fielding phone calls
- Using the multi-functional device for copying, scanning and indexing documents
- Other general administration tasks to support operational staff
