The aim of Social Work Resources is to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South Lanarkshire. In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary and independent provider organisations, we offer a range of services designed to enable, support, improve and protect the health and social care of people using our services.

This post offers excellent opportunities at a time of considerable development within the service. As a Community Support Co-ordinator you will play a key role in the delivery of community services. You will be responsible for the management of care staff and the delivery of care services, in line with Supporting Your Independence across South Lanarkshire Council. You will also have responsibility for managing and organising the care for service users.

You will work as part of a locality team assessing service users' needs in respect of care referrals and monitoring and reviewing care within agreed timescales. You should have excellent IT skills and be dynamic and creative, with the ability to resolve problems as they arise.
