Location: Hamilton Business Unit

Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed term until 30 September 2026

Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £25,183 - £28,358 per year

Housing & Technical Resources seek to recruit a Clerical Assistant to join the repairs team based within Hamilton Business Unit. You will be required to effectively diagnose, order and instruct repair requests in accordance with Council’s policies, standards and targets. Effective communication skills are therefore essential, as is the ability to display IT skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent customer service is our priority therefore you will display the necessary commitment to customer care, and preferably have previous experience of handling complex customer enquiries by telephone.

You will have the ability to effectively prioritise your own workload, respond to changing priorities and be able to contribute effectively to team goals and projects.
