Hours: 20 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8:00am β 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am till 4:00pm. Saturday and Sunday Rota: 1 in 8 weekends Saturday, Sunday 8:00am β 1:00pm. Also 1 in 25-week standby rota covering all SLC Multis afterhours emergency call outs only. Extra Payment for standby and overtime for being called out. This post is a part-time 20 hours per week job share with another on the same contract, working a 5 on 5 off pattern. Details will be explained at interview.

Housing & Technical Resources seek to recruit a Facilities Assistant (Caretaker) to join our dedicated team providing a service in East Kilbride, Clyde Tower, and other areas throughout South Lanarkshire Council where required.
You will be responsible for providing a day-to-day caretaking service within a multi-storey block of flats that will comply with agreed standards. You should be able to work a shift pattern including Saturday/Sunday and participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work on your own initiative. You should be a committed team player and demonstrate previous experience of providing a customer-oriented service.
An awareness of Health & Safety legislation is essential.
