Hours: 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am – 1.30pm

South Lanarkshire Council requires an experienced Plasterer to support various projects within Building Services. The role involves carrying out all associated plastering works, including new build, refurbishment, and maintenance, with a flexible approach to managing varied workloads.

You should be time-served with trade qualifications such as SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in the appropriate trade discipline, demonstrating sound practical technical competencies and high-quality workmanship. Experience in working within both commercial and domestic properties in the construction industry is essential.

Notifiable non-licensed work Category B training with Asbestos would be beneficial.

You should demonstrate a commitment to customer care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working to targets and timescales, along with an awareness of health and safety in the workplace, is necessary.

Due to the requirements of this post, the ability to travel throughout South Lanarkshire is essential.
