Housing and Technical Resources seek to recruit a Stores Assistant to join the team. Your primary role will involve assisting the stores team lead to provide day-to-day management of a busy stores team. You will help establish and maintain stock levels that satisfy business unit needs. A proven track record within a store environment is desirable, along with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines. Awareness of health and safety in the workplace and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and suppliers are essential. Supervisory skills, excellent customer care skills, and good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge and experience of computerized stock control systems are necessary.
Driving licence and counterbalance forklift licence are desirable.
