The Depute Head Teacher is required to:
- Assist the Head Teacher in the overall management of the school as part of a Management Team.
- Deputise for the Head Teacher in their absence and have responsibility for the leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues.
We are now inviting applications from Fully Qualified (GTC) Secondary Teachers. You will assist in the delivery of the curriculum and contribute to whole school initiatives, as appropriate and will carry out the range of duties outlined in Annexe B of "A Teaching Profession for the 21st Century". Remits will be flexible to complement the skills base of the current Senior Team but previous experience of impact in the areas of developing learning and teaching approaches; curriculum development; and optimising attainment will be a desirable attribute.
