The Housing and Technical Resources team requires a Technical Assistant to join the Maintenance Team at Hamilton Business Unit to assist in the delivery of the property maintenance and technical advisory services relevant to the maintenance and development of the Council's housing portfolio.

Location: Hamilton Business Unit

Hours: 35 hours per week, permanent

Work Pattern: 4 days a week, Week 1: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 5.15pm; Week 2: Tuesday 7.30am – 5.15pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £37,702 – £38,779

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will hold a SVQ Level 2/3 qualification in an appropriate discipline, time-served, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • To carry out this role effectively you must have the ability to travel to our various locations throughout South Lanarkshire.
  • The role involves assisting in the delivery of property maintenance and providing technical advisory services related to the maintenance and development of the Council's housing portfolio.

  • SVQ Level 2/3 qualification in an appropriate discipline, time-served, or equivalent relevant experience.
