Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed term until November 2026. Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the Housing Services team in the Hamilton area. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of housing services to our customers; therefore, you should have similar experience of working within a housing related environment and have an understanding of current issues and legislation in relation to homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery and dealing with anti-social behaviour.
Excellent IT skills are required as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload in an effective way and to respond and adapt to changing priorities required in delivering a quality service. You will be eligible to participate in South Lanarkshire Council's Car Pool Scheme as it would be advantageous to have access to a vehicle for business purposes if required to travel to alternative locations.
