The Employee Development and Diversity Team is pleased to offer an opportunity for an individual who is committed to supporting others to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential. As Personnel Officer (Employee Development), you will be responsible for designing, delivering, evaluating, and continuously improving a range of workforce development programmes that enhance leadership capability, personal effectiveness, and organisational performance.
In this role, you will undertake a broad range of duties across all stages of the learning cycle, with a particular focus on Management and Leadership Development. You will also contribute to a variety of initiatives that support the Council’s strategic objectives.
We are seeking someone who can demonstrate excellent communication skills and who has experience in all key aspects of Learning and Development within a large organisation. This role requires you to work collaboratively as part of a professional team, exercising confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgement. You must be able to respond effectively to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
You will hold a recognised training qualification or be willing to work towards a relevant accredited qualification.
