Location: St John Ogilvie High School, Farm Road, Burnbank, Hamilton, ML3 9LA
Hours: 15 hours per week (Supervisor 7.5 hours and Cleaner 7.5 hours).
Work Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3.30pm — 6.30pm and Tuesday, Thursday 3.45pm — 6.45pm.
Hourly Rate: £13.80 (Cleaner) and £14.12 – £14.27 (Cleaning Supervisor).
Responsibilities:- The successful candidate will carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc., and monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulation, reporting any difficult issues to management.
- Be responsible for setting up rooms for lets and be the on-site responsible person for reporting health and safety issues.
- Supervise a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning), assisting with training; recruitment & selection; maximising attendance; team brief, etc.
- Ensure the security of the building is maintained, acting as a key-holder as required.
This post is exempt in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Scotland Act 2020. This post is considered a Regulated Role with Children, in respect of the Disclosure Scotland Act 2020.
