Location: Langlea Avenue Children’s House

Hours: 20hrs per week, permanent

Work Pattern: Two week rota with fixed working days of Friday and Saturday - 9.45pm - 7.45am

Salary / Hourly Rate: £17.12 - £18.85 per hour, £17,852 - £19,656

You will be joining a responsive, progressive and innovative Social Work resource where children’s needs are central to policy, practice and partnership working.

It is a requirement of this post that you apply to register with the SSSC within 3 months of commencing post. You must be willing to work towards this qualification or have the qualification before commencing post. There are two parts to residential childcare worker qualification requirements. You must have a practice qualification plus an award of certificated knowledge, or one qualification which meets the full criteria. The main qualifications are detailed below: SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7 and HNC Social Services. Please refer to the SSSC website for a full list of acceptable qualifications.
