An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As a Youth, Family and Community Learning Officer you will work within a team to develop and deliver ESOL provision to improve life chances and achieve positive outcomes for individuals and communities. You will be capable of working in a range of settings to best meet the needs of learners. You will have the skills to use a range of monitoring and evaluation processes to plan, deliver and review the impact of service provision, providing reports when necessary. The values and principles of Community Learning and Development should be at the core of your practice.
You will have exceptional organisational skills and experience of working across a wide partnership. You should be able to demonstrate effective communication and influencing skills, a high level of personal initiative/drive and a proven track record in delivering high quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of geographical communities and communities of interest.
In providing these supports you will work in partnership with a range of partners, Local Authority departments and Voluntary Sector providers.
