We have a large amenity ground adjacent to the school which we use for outdoor learning, sports and games. We moved into our new school building in June 2016. The design is semi-open plan and it is also open in the sense that parents and members of the community are welcome to visit at any time.
Kirklandpark School at present has eleven mainstream classes and a nursery. It is progressive in outlook and open minded in so far as up to date educational thinking and practice are concerned, yet retains an emphasis on the solid grounding that is the hallmark of Scottish Education.
Our school motto was designed by pupil Cara McClean and embraces the ethos of Kirklandpark School – Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors.
