Responsibilities
- The Social Care Assistant will provide high‑quality care to older people, supporting their independence, rights, choice and individuality.
- Delivering person‑centred care and welfare support.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Adhering to all relevant health & safety, safeguarding and disability legislation.
Qualifications
- Applicants should hold an SVQ in Social Care Level 2 or 3, or an HNC in Social Care, or be committed to achieving these qualifications.
- Be registered with SSSC or be in the process of registration; registration must be completed within 6 months of commencing employment.
