Hours: Part‑time - 26.25 hrs per week
Work Pattern: In accordance with a rotational roster, you will work over a four‑week shift pattern consisting of two weeks day shift and two weeks back shift. Day shift is from 6:30 am until 3:30 pm (weekdays – 7 am until 4 pm office based). Backshift is from 3 pm until 11 pm. When not in the office you will work from home.
- Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Day shift)
- Week 2 – Wednesday and Thursday (Day shift)
- Week 3 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Back shift)
- Week 4 – Wednesday and Thursday (Back shift)
Responsibilities: Provide a support service to Home Carers working across the community council to support vulnerable people. Key duties include scheduling and allocation of work, use of IT systems, and ensuring quality service delivery through continuous improvement. Additional increments will be paid for working unsocial hours. South Lanarkshire Council will provide and fund all required training including induction and ongoing learning and development.
Ideal Candidate: Highly motivated, caring, patient, compassionate and adaptable with a clear understanding and respect for the rights of others. A working knowledge of IT programmes and a commitment to quality service delivery are essential.
