- Week 1 - Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.15pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm
- Week 2 - Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.15pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
Salary: £33,027 - £33,432 annual salary
Community & Enterprise Resources are seeking a skilled road operative Chargehands. You will have experience in a variety of road maintenance and construction tasks e.g. Surfacing, Patching, Drain Laying, Resetting Ironwork, Kerb Laying, Slab and Block Paving.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in an all year round standby rota for which payment of overtime and stand by will be made. A current full Driving Licence is essential. In particular, applications received from holders of HGV licence will be welcomed with salary being dependent on experience and qualifications. Experience in a supervisory capacity is also desirable.
Preferred candidates identified after the selection event process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.
Canvassing of Elected Members or employees of South Lanarkshire's Council directly or indirectly in connection with any appointment within the Council shall disqualify the applicant.
