Location: Forrest Street Depot, 18 Forrest Street, Blantyre, G72 0JP

Hours: 41.89 hours per week

Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm and Friday 6:45am - 2.30pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £33,526 - £33,941 annual salary

A position has arisen for Waste Services Operative Driver within Waste Services based in Forrest Street Depot, Blantyre. You will provide a quality front line Refuse Collection Service within the local community. You will have the ability to undertake a range of skilled refuse collection and recycling duties ensuring compliance with the Environmental Protection Act, Council Policies and Health and Safety Legislation.

You will be required to hold a current HGV licence and CPC card (Certificate of Professional Competence). Previous experience of working in refuse collection, recycling and knowledge of health and safety requirements within cleansing would be advantageous.

Provide detailed description of previous driving experience including rear steer refuse collection vehicles. Provide us with your knowledge of Health and Safety relating to this role.
