Location: Various Locations within South Lanarkshire

Hours: 15 hours per week on a term time basis

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday split shifts

Hourly Rate: £13.33 per hour

We are looking to recruit two Bus Escorts within the Fleet Services division of Community & Enterprise Resources. The successful candidates will be able to work closely with children and ensure their safe transportation to premises across South Lanarkshire Council. This post will involve:

  • Securing wheelchair passengers and seat belts
  • Liaising with parents, establishments and drivers on issues concerning transportation
  • Assisting individuals with additional support needs in and out of the vehicle and to and from premises

Preferred candidates identified after the selection event process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.
